Rebeka's PE Class Review

During PE this year, how have you shown you are prepared and willing to participate
in a variety of activities?  On what days have you participated to your best effort and
why?  What days have been a struggle for you and why?

I came to class prepared and I had positive energy. I participated best on days where we had to do running because I like running. Days when we had to play sports like volleyball, and pingpong because I am awful at sports.

How do you contribute to the overall success of the class?  What kind of attitude do
you bring and why?  How do you interact with other students in our class?

I try my best. I bring positive attitude, not all the time sometimes I'm sick or in a bad mood, but even then I try my best. I run with them and try to find things we have alike. When we have to partner up I choose someone who I know I'm not gonna stand around laughing with.

Describe your participation during fitness days - have you been able to push yourself
physically?  What types of fitness activities do you enjoy the most?  What fitness
goals do you have for the rest of the year?

I have been able to push myself physically, I pushed myself to the limits until I felt like dropping to the floor and sleeping. I enjoy running and circuits, I know most people hate that but I enjoy that the most. My fitness goals are to try my very very best and not stop no matter how sick I feel.

What does "leadership" mean to you?  Who are the best leaders in our class - why?

It means someone who is willing to take action and lead the class. I think the best leader in my class is Mr.Vaughan because he always tells us to try our best and modify if we can't do the certain activity. He always participates and sets an example for us to follow.

What improvements would you like to make in PE by the end of the year?  What are
you the most proud of so far?

I really want to improve on remembering to bring my gym strip, my memory is awful and I always forget to pack it, I need to remember to pack it the night before school.  I am most proud of one time we had to run circuits and I ran the whole thing for the full 45 minutes and only stopped to walk maybe for 5 minutes. I am proud of that because even though my side and legs and head hurt so bad I kept on running and didn't give in.

Finally, what letter grade A, B, C+, C, C- (gulp) best represents the effort you just described?

I think I deserve a B. I know it doesn't seem like it but I always try my best in activities and push myself, I don't sit out and complain. I know I forget my gym strip alot but I still participate in the class. I am not good at all at sports and I tend to hurt myself or others around me, but that shouldn't decrease my grade because I can't be expected to be good at everything. I think PE is all about trying and learning how to improve on your health, not seeing who is the best athlete.
